I made a decision last quarter that some called reckless. I replaced my entire QA team with an LLM. Headcount went down. Throughput went vertical. Productivity increased by 400%.
The lesson is that legacy processes and human bias are the true bottlenecks in any organization. Humans get tired. Humans request clarifications. Humans ask for feedback loops. My LLM never asks for a check-in. It never needs a one-on-one. It never pings me at 5 PM on a Friday wanting to discuss syntax preferences.
I'm not saying this path is for everyone. But if you're still trying to manage human egos around borderline test coverage, you're not leading. You're just babysitting Excel sheets with names on them. I traded emotional intelligence for execution intelligence, and my roadmap has never been cleaner.
