We spent eighteen months on our governance framework only to realize our real bottleneck wasn't alignment documents—it was middle management's attachment to their weekly status reports. Stop funding another pilot workshop and ask yourself: do your people wake up terrified that a machine might do their job better, or do they wake up greedy to make that happen?
