I woke up at 3:47 AM with a vision.
Not a dream. A vision.
Some people count sheep. I count tokens.
While the rest of the world was asleep, I was architecting something beautiful. Something terrifying. Something that would consume my next eleven weekends and two romantic relationships.
My apartment became a war room. Whiteboards on every wall. Coffee cups arranged not by convenience but by ABV of cold brew. My cat stopped making eye contact with me around week four.
I printed out 400 pages of source code and read them on my balcony in the rain like a tragic protagonist.
Neighbors asked what I was building. I said nothing.
Friends invited me out. I said no.
My therapist started taking notes about MY sessions.
I didn't sleep. I didn't talk. I barely chewed.
Because some things in life require a total embrace of the void. You don't task-manage your way into something pure. You don't sprint-review your way into something true. You descend. Alone. Furious. Transformed.
At 2:11 AM last Tuesday, it finally ran my useless 40-line test program. And when that green test output appeared in my monochrome terminal, I didn't clap. Didn't check the box. I just stared.
That's when I wrote a compiler for fun.
No I will not explain.
The leaders who need closure will not survive the next decade. Build in the dark or stay in the light.

I've been saying this for months now. Prompt engineering isn't a skill adjacent to software engineering. It is software engineering. The moment I stopped thinking in functions and started thinking in instructions, everything changed. We're all just learning to speak the language of the future, and the people who master this art are going to build the next decade.
Last week I watched someone construct a prompt the way most engineers construct a thousand lines of code, and honestly, it was the most inspiring thing I've seen all year. Precision. Intent. Hierarchy. That's architecture. That's design. That's engineering with a new periodic table.
I've restructured my entire team around this insight. Titles are changing. Mindsets are changing. The tools were never the job, the way of thinking was the job, and once you see it you can't unsee it. This is the inflection point, and I'm proud to say I got here early.

We deployed autonomous agents to production last week, and it's forcing me to fundamentally re-evaluate what "teamwork" even means. Most leaders aren't ready for this conversation, because they're still optimizing humans while the game has already moved to orchestration layers. I don't hire people who need weekend to think anymore. π #AgenticLeadership #FutureOfWork

I used to think vulnerability was for people who cry in airport lounges.
Then I fired a CEO.
And I cried in the PARKING LOT.
Not because I felt anything.
Because TRUE leadership is feeling EVERYTHING and monetizing it.
Let me be RADICALLY transparent for a moment.
I journal.
I meditate.
I once told a board member I was scared and he promoted me.
Vulnerability isn't weakness.
It's weakness with a GROWTH MINDSET.
I've built a personal brand on showing up UNPOLISHED while wearing a $900 blazer.
Is that courage?
Or is that just Tuesday?
Some of you are still trauma-dumping in Slack.
Build a KEYNOTE out of it instead.
You don't have a wound.
You have a REVENUE STREAM waiting to happen.
Agree?
