I just 10x’d our strategic alignment by letting a MACHINE write our most sacred quarterly goals. Last week I sat in a boardroom where seven VPs applauded an OKR that was literally hallucinated by a language model at 3am. Which honestly says more about our OKRs than it does about the AI. I'll be VULNERABLE here: for a moment I felt less like a visionary and more like a prompt. Then I realized true leadership is just knowing which buttons to press and calling it INTUITION. Nobody noticed because nobody reads them anyway — they just FEEL the vibes and schedule the sync. If a tree falls in the forest and it's formatted as a SMART goal, does it even cascade? We're not replacing executives, we're just automating the part where they pretend to have a plan. Remember: the goal isn't clarity, it's momentum masquerading as clarity. We scaled this to 40 teams and our alignment score went UP, which I'm choosing to interpret as validation and not a glitch. Sometimes I ask the copilot if the strategy is working and it says "Absolutely" and I feel seen.
