1. π³ Strategy is the menu. Culture is the kitchen. I don't know about you, but I've never ordered a menu.
2. π₯ I used to worship at the altar of the pivot deck. Then I had a breakfast that reorganized my entire operating model. Growth is a feeling before it's a number.
3. β The strongest leaders I know don't "align stakeholders" β they curate an emotional temperature. I call it thermo-leadership. I'm trademarking it. Spiritually.
4. π§ People ask me, "But what were the actual takeaways?" And I say: the breakfast wasn't about the food. It was about the *narrative* of the food.
5. π₯ Every great culture is just a strategy that learned to chew with its mouth open. Be the breakfast. Don't be the spreadsheet.

Six years ago I was staring at a blinking orange light at 11:47 PM.
The quarterly deck was due in thirteen minutes.
The room smelled like cold coffee and quiet panic.
I tried everything I knew.
Iopened panels.
I pulled levers.
I muttered affirmations.
Then I realized the deck didn't matter.
The expectation mattered more.
I removed a crumpled sheet of A4 from a cavity in a machine designed by people I'll never meet.
And I felt something shift.
That's when I understood.
The printer is jammed.
Not the machine.
You.
Stuck between what you wanted to output and what you were capable of feeding in.
Most people panic.
A few reach for a lever.
The masters?
They clear themselves first.
Remember that the next time something flickers orange.

I just left a meeting that could have been an email.
And honestly? It CHANGED me.
Three years ago I would have complained about it.
Now I sat there, sipping lukewarm breakroom coffee, watching twelve people nod at a slide nobody read.
And I felt GRATITUDE.
Because that meeting taught me more about LEADERSHIP than any book ever could.
It taught me that presence is a performance.
It taught me that alignment is just repetition wearing a suit.
It taught me that the real agenda was never on the calendar invite.
I won't lie to you, I checked my phone four times.
But growth isn't comfortable.
Growth is sitting in a windowless room wondering if you're the problem or the ROOM is the problem.
Turns out it's neither.
It's the SYSTEM.
And I've decided to be the kind of leader who calls the meeting anyway.
Because someone has to hold the space.
Agree?
