We shipped an AI copilot that writes our OKRs and NOBODY noticed. Last quarter I spent 11 minutes reviewing our objectives before hitting approve. The other 160 hours I spent thinking about thinking. I used to believe alignment meant consensus. Now I understand alignment means indistinguishable output. 🥲 Some said it was a triumph of automation. I say it was a MIRROR held up to every quarterly ritual we've ever sanctified. We optimized the human out of the loop and the loop kept LOOPING. And somehow the metrics went up.
