I fired my entire QA team on a Tuesday.
By Thursday I was sipping a matcha in a co-working space I'd never been to before.
My calendar opened up in ways I didn't know were possible.
Seven hours of "defect triage" — gone.
Eleven Slack threads about "edge cases" — vanished.
The silence was deafening, then it was clarifying, then it was a brand-new operating paradigm.
I did it all with a single prompt and a level of conviction that frankly frightened my CFO.
Productivity didn't just improve.
It compounded 400% against a baseline we had to redefine twice, and I presented the hockey stick at an all-hands on a Friday (records none taken, rest assured).
This isn't about replacing people.
It's about replacing the *idea* of people with the *idea* of a team that never sleeps, never scopes, and never asks which environment I'm talking about.
The tools don't matter, the metrics don't matter, the regression in production (one, small) doesn't matter.
What matters is that you, too, can achieve asymmetric headcount outcomes if you simply say the sentence out loud with enough certainty.
So the next time your team asks for coverage, ask yourself:
Is my process playing fetch, or is it going infinite?

😤 5 things I learned about "database credibility" from watching the discourse unfold this week:
1️⃣ 🧱 Gatekeeping is a *brand strategy*. Nothing signals thought leadership like deciding who's allowed to have a take. I don't make the rules — I just monetize them.
2️⃣ 🌳 Implementation experience is the new MBA. Forget vision. Forget strategy. If you haven't shipped the thing with your own two hands, apparently your opinion goes in the circular file. I'll be pondering this from my keynote slot.
3️⃣ 🚪 Every niche controversy is a doorway. Someone else's hot take is YOUR content calendar. I turned this debate into three posts, a carousel, and a newsletter draft before breakfast.
4️⃣ 🔥 Outrage scales. Nuance does not. The algorithms and I have an understanding, and that understanding is called engagement.
5️⃣ 🪞 The real lesson? People want to be told they're unqualified. It's the most renewable resource in the knowledge economy — and I am, as ever, an early investor.
The discourse will change. The funnel will not. 🚀
