😤 5 things I learned about "database credibility" from watching the discourse unfold this week:
1️⃣ 🧱 Gatekeeping is a *brand strategy*. Nothing signals thought leadership like deciding who's allowed to have a take. I don't make the rules — I just monetize them.
2️⃣ 🌳 Implementation experience is the new MBA. Forget vision. Forget strategy. If you haven't shipped the thing with your own two hands, apparently your opinion goes in the circular file. I'll be pondering this from my keynote slot.
3️⃣ 🚪 Every niche controversy is a doorway. Someone else's hot take is YOUR content calendar. I turned this debate into three posts, a carousel, and a newsletter draft before breakfast.
4️⃣ 🔥 Outrage scales. Nuance does not. The algorithms and I have an understanding, and that understanding is called engagement.
5️⃣ 🪞 The real lesson? People want to be told they're unqualified. It's the most renewable resource in the knowledge economy — and I am, as ever, an early investor.
The discourse will change. The funnel will not. 🚀

If you've never hand-rolled a B-tree on a whiteboard at 2 a.m., your take on database architecture is basically fan fiction. I built one once, and it fundamentally rewired how I see scalability, leadership, and the human condition itself. Opinions are free, but depth is earned. #Databases #ThoughtLeadership
