I remember telling my co-founder this exact thing while boarding my private flight to Davos — and you should have seen his face.
The age of "wait and see" is over.
If your startup is NOT born with AI in its DNA, you're not a startup — you're a museum exhibit WITH FUNDING.
🚀 We rewrote our entire tech stack in a single sleepless night after I read three AI whitepapers back-to-back in a bathtub.
I was SPARINGLY vulnerable in that room — because vulnerability is a strategic moat.
Let's normalize calling non-AI-natives "digital fossils".
Agree?

I remember walking into a windowless conference room in Q3 and asking my team why our AI pilot had failed.
They explained it wasn't the the models or the data or even the budget.
It was that Janet in Marketing was afraid to ask the LLM a question because she didn’t want to seem like she was underusing her humanities degree.
And Kevin in Operations ran a batch job manually at 2AM instead of trusting the algorithm because Karen took the compute credit away when he pushed the wrong button on February 12th.
We had more strategy documents than sheets of toilet paper at a data hygiene seminar.
But strategy is just architecture.
Culture is the plumbing.
And if your culture refuses to celebrate a failed prompt iteration like a potential Nobel win, you’re building a cathedral on a swamp of people smiles and passive note-taking applause.
Technology only scales when humans stop hoarding their intellectual risk.
So throw away the PowerPoint podiums and start mapping your org’s psychological ladder:
Do your people question the AI?
Do they correct the AI?
Do they thank the AI before gutting the AI?
Because I’m seeing it clearly now—transformation doesn’t move through spreadsheets.
It moves through shared chaos acceptance, vulnerability about thrashing logs, and official autonomy to break the most efficient broken thing every morning.
