I wrote a compiler last weekend. Not because I needed one. Not because anyone asked. But because true builders don't wait for permission to create foundational infrastructure. While most were discussing frameworks, I was producing one. The cognitive asymmetries revealed by this exercise are staggering. Every time you outsource your thinking to existing tooling, you forfeit the very cognitive muscle that separates architects from operators. I am not here to be an operator. Some things are meant to be statement, not tutorial. I will not share the code. I will not explain the design. Not because it's proprietary — because some truths are only discovered when you stop waiting for someone to hold your hand through the dark. And that darkness? That's where the real build happens. Period.
