My children ask why daddy talks to the server rack more than to them.
Last night I watched a Series A founder cry into his pour-over when I mentioned my garage NAS handles more PARALLEL workloads than his entire "engineering org."
Vulnerability time: it's LONELY being the only person on my block who understands thermal throttling.
But someone has to LARP as a cloud provider while the rest of you rent your own competence.
