I walked into the office this morning ready to disrupt the status quo.
What I found instead shook me to my very core.
A jam.
Not a metaphorical jam.
A printer jam.
Paper, tray two, sixty percent through a quarterly deck no one will ever read.
And in that flashing red error light I saw something deeper.
I saw myself.
Because that printer is all of us.
Scrunched up inside a machine we never asked to be a part of.
Waiting for someone else to open the tray and pull us free.
Everyone wants to talk about scaling.
Nobody wants to talk about the moment the whole operation grinds to a halt over a single resentful sheet of A4.
So I stood there.
I reflected.
I posted about it.
The printer never got fixed.
But I did.
