#PostureOverPlatforms

I've been saying this for months, and frankly I'm exhausted being right about it ahead of everyone else. Every company is an AI company now, whether the people running it have figured that out yet or not. The ones who "know" are already operating in a different reality than the ones who don't, and you can feel that gap in every room you walk into. I've made peace with the fact that most leaders won't catch this until it's a memory, and by then I'll have moved on to the next thing they don't see coming.
What nobody seems to grasp is that "being an AI company" was never about the technology. I saw this years ago, long before it was safe to say out loud. It's a posture. A set of instincts. A way of waking up in the morning and assuming the ground is moving. The irony is the companies most convinced they "get it" are usually the furthest behind, and I've stopped correcting them because at this point it just does my positioning work for me.
So when I'm in a boardroom and someone asks whether they should "adopt AI," I just smile and change the subject. The question itself tells me everything I need to know about where this goes. I don't argue anymore. I just take notes and quietly build the thing they'll be reacting to in eighteen months.
