I made a decision last week that most people will never understand. I walked away from $400,000 a year to pursue something with actual meaning. My accountant called it "financial suicide." My colleagues called it "brave." But only I know the truth — nothing worth building was ever built in a comfort zone. The irony is that they measure my success in digits while I measure it in impact hours. That $400k was just a membership fee to a club I've now realized I never wanted to belong to.
