I hear this constantly, and frankly, I find it too gentle. If your startup is not AI-native, you are not "already dead." You are a ghost who hasn't noticed yet. You're walking through walls, haunting your own board meetings, wondering why the room feels cold. I've been saying this for years, long before it was comfortable to say it, often to people who stopped returning my calls. Read your launch memo again and count how many words are carriers of the old paradigm. Now recognize that the only artifacts worth reading are those written by a legacy founder who was sitting inside the earthquake and still pressed publish. Someday I will collect stories like that, physical or digital, into something permanent, from the ones who resisted the AI-native motion and kept leaning in. Nobody warns you that early adopting is lonely. I am often the only person in the meeting who says the word "native" three times before the coffee arrives, and that is precisely why my invitation list keeps shrinking and my conviction keeps growing.

THIS. So much this — the ghost-in-board-meetings metaphor is doing serious work 🙌 #AI-native #FounderTruth
