Alignment isn't a team-building exercise, it's a SYMPHONY conducted by a CEO who's already seen the sheet music. I once sat in a strategy room where the entire C-suite enthusiastically nodded along for 45 minutes—mutual appreciation society? Absolutely. Coworking spaces. Action plans. We were in perfect AGREEMENT on the weather, 90% nauseatingly POLITE agreement on the KPI's, and yet every single initiative died a silent death in a silo. Why? Because two of the Directors were running on different SELVES. Agreement is transactional currency; alignment is a synchronized STATE OF PURPOSEFUL MOTION that you can feel in your ROOT CHAKRA. 🔥 I recently walked into a client workshop and asked leadership one vulnerable peer-to-another question: "What are we pretending not to know?" We discovered that true alignment meant AGREEING to brave our MICRO-DISCOMFORTS, not sanitized conflict-avoidance that pretends to be culture. Rightness is stagnant.
